Ever since the beginning of String Theory, we have welcomed
the fact that these special resonating strings create bubbles(Branes). Encompassing an attempt to synthesise a
“Theory of Everything” where a set of mathematical equations that are able to
describe all the particles that exist in our universe (Perhaps in others too)
and the fundamental forces of nature and attempt to quantify and unify them in
a beautiful equation. This has been dubbed the holy grail of theoretical
physics. But the sheer difficulty has even alluded the greats such as
Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawkins.
With String Theory at hand, these multi-dimensional strings allow
anti gravitational force fields to synthesise out of nowhere. Which in turn are
responsible for the these bubble (Brane) universes mentioned above. Which they then
give birth to more universe, probably exponentially increasing in number.
We are suspected to be a small place in a much larger plane
of existence. Living in a world of multi dimensions (More than 4). Being
perhaps very small in size and scrunched into a configuration called the
Calabi-Yau space plane. Noting that we could be wrapped around the a tea cup
like handle in the Calabi-Yau space.

Though with any theory, it has its issues! These
multi-dimensional stings are allowed to take a massive number of configurations
and arrangements. This leads to a problem as it allows particles and forces to
have incredibly different properties. Some numbers have been floating about in
the excess of 10500 combinations. (10 with 500 zeros on the end)
which is also known as the “string landscape”. Also that number is
staggeringly high and far too large to realistically quantify. So this leads to
massive controversy and some view string theory a charlatans game or a cop out.
In any case, String theory is still a young explanation of the universe as
well as the quantum theory also. But in terms of hard conclusive scientific
evidence, quantum mechanics is in the lead. But it only takes the right
observations to throw quantum mechanics out of the water and place string
theory in its place.
Nice theory man, but god knows if this is going to happen!

there might be other dimensions to it.
